Hey you guys! I kept hoping till last minute that there will be a miracle and someone else would do this post instead of me, like my invisible twin or something. I even asked Mitch that he posts it, because he knows you all better. This was all lame excuses and really I'm not usually this shy. Only when it comes to mass communication – because it's so weired to be talking to so many of you (ok, so you say, 5? 6? how many people realistically view the post? Well, what if it's a hundred?) - and you are all so different. One spins cathedrals, the other one likes monkey fists, someone has a swivel and the other one likes to spit fire... and then a profound though came into my head that we are all pyromaniacs and this is what's important. What really matters to us is to have an opportunity to get together and watch fire or listen to it race past your head and feel heart go on pause with every swing of Kevlar wrapped tightly in flames... so I decided to finally do it: just say what I have to and stop making such a big deal about it, especially because we only have a bit more then a month to prep for the event.

The organizers of the Desiderata festival are generously offering us to come to their festival on August 6th for a weekend of great music, wonderful yoga classes and indie films, and other pleasant surprises. We are invited to do one big a fire jam right in the main stage area on Friday night right before the first set of the night, which will be played by Crystal Method. After that we are free to do burns where and when we want to for the rest of the weekend as we decide and for those of you who live for good psy-trance, the set played after Crystal Method will be performed by Infected Mushroom – they are bringing their classic set and also playing a more recent one too.
